Investment rationale and value creation
We were attracted to this business with a good reputation and quality customer base. Market conditions became challenging for the business and we faced a number of difficulties alongside management. Our robust structure with little external debt provided time for the business to trade through. Our proactive portfolio management approach ensured we made a cash return in excess of our original investment.
