PROMOTION AT GROWTH CAPITAL PARTNERS

Growth Capital Partners (GCP), the provider of flexible structured equity to UK SME’s has promoted Simon Jobson to partner, following closely the appointments of Francesco Santinon as a partner and Graham Dewhirst as advisory partner.

Simon, who is a qualified Chartered Accountant, has a strong track record in deal origination and fund raising and has been involved in transactions including Amor and Blueberry and is responsible for leading the investment in Wrap Film Systems and sits on its Board.

Over the past ten years, GCP has delivered a realised IRR of 20% and has returned £146 million on invested capital of £75 million in 13 exits. The last five exits have aggregate returns of 37% IRR and 2.2x money. The firm has made over 20 investments including companies such as Tangerine, the UK confectionery business that makes Butterkist Popcorn.
