CGC has backed the secondary management buy out of Killby & Gayford (K&G), the award-winning specialist building and refurbishment contractor. K&G has an experienced management team who have grown the business from a turnover of £37.4m in 1998 to £80m at the time of our investment in September 2007. The company has a strong reputation in the market for its high-calibre people and the quality of its workmanship. The company enjoys substantial repeat business from longstanding relationships (some dating back over 100 years) with a number of blue-chip customers through framework/preferred supplier agreements. Customers are in the banking, commercial, government, healthcare and retail sectors.
