Kirsty joined GCP in 2012. She is a member of the investment committee and is involved in all aspects of the business including deal origination, portfolio management and investor relations.
She led the Fund III investment into Scopus, an Aberdeen-headquartered oil & gas services firm and was subsequently responsible for delivering the successful sale of the business to Amec Foster Wheeler. She also led GCP’s investments in Advanced Insulation, a provider of high performance insulation & fire protection products to the global oil & gas industry and AMG Group, a supplier of branded outdoor equipment. Kirsty sits on both boards.
Prior to joining GCP, Kirsty spent five years at 3i, where she invested in fast-growing, private businesses. Previously, she was part of the Group Development team at Trinity Mirror plc, focused on corporate acquisitions. She was also one of the founders of a London-based strategy consultancy, providing support to companies ranging from start-up to FTSE100.
Kirsty studied at St. John’s College, Cambridge where she gained both a Double First Class honours degree and a Masters degree in Engineering.
