I am the lead Operating Partner focusing on portfolio value growth and act as the independent non-executive for the Partnership having joined GCP in July 2009
With over 30 years’ senior management experience, I have been a Marketing Director for two large multinationals, Mars and Barilla, an owner-manager and a multi-company chairman. I have also held various company directorships.
My experience straddles multinational, private equity and family businesses across several countries and sectors. Prior to joining GCP, I specialised in advisory work for private equity clients – focusing on delivering value from investment portfolios – in chairing companies and in coaching and advising a wide range of senior managers.
Before embarking on my business career, I was a detective in the Merseyside Police and a City Councillor in York. I have an avid interest in politics and modern history and have been a follower of LFC for 50 years. I have a wife and two grown up children and an adored cocker spaniel called Sasha.
