Growth Capital Partners hires three new recruits

Growth Capital Partners (GCP) has hired three new recruits, with two investment executives and a finance director joining the team.

James Salter and James Handley join GCP as investment executives. Both Salter and Handley join the firm from EY.

Salter spent more than seven years at EY based in both its UK and Australian offices. He has experience across its private equity transaction, corporate restructuring and corporate finance teams. Handley spent over six years at the firm where he worked in its corporate finance team.

John March also joins GCP as finance director from B&B Investment Partners, where he spent over three years. He began his career at PwC as a transaction services director.

Last month the firm promoted Ravi Monteiro from investment manager to investment director.

GCP invests in UK-headquartered SMEs with a deal value of between £5m and £50m. The firm has specific sector experience in industrials, oil and gas, business services, consumer and leisure, and telecoms and technology.

In July GCP closed its fourth fund at £205m, surpassing its £200m target. It saw 80 per cent of investors in prior funds commit to the new vehicle.
