We are pleased to share that GCP is hiring a Portfolio Growth Executive to join its ambitious and growing Value Creation team, working hands-on with management teams to support the delivery of priority strategic growth initiatives across the portfolio. This is an opportunity for a high-calibre candidate with five years plus consulting experience to move into private equity.

About the Value Creation Team 

The Value Creation team provides specialist support as part of our Investment Team, working in collaborative partnership with the founders and management teams we work with from across our portfolio. This involves hands-on work to scope, project manage, and deliver priority strategic growth initiatives from our Growth Toolkit – translating investment strategy into real-world practical execution and business impact. 

This role offers genuine breadth and exposure. You will work directly with our Investment Team alongside the Partners and Directors who lead our partnership investments and support CEOs, Chairs and senior leadership teams across multiple portfolio companies. You’ll be joining a team that combines deep sector insight with genuine curiosity, respect for entrepreneurial success and a shared passion for backing ambitious founders and their growth plans.

About you 

We are keen to speak with candidates with five years plus consulting experience, ideally with exposure to transformation, growth or programme delivery, who are looking to take their next career step and move into private equity. This is an opportunity to work on multiple exciting investments and growth companies, operate at pace, and build both technical and commercial capability from day one, with strong Partner-level exposure throughout.

Alongside this, you will be a strong problem solver with a commercial mindset, able to work pragmatically, structure analysis and make sound decisions in complex, fast‑moving environments. You will be self‑driven, delivery‑focused and collaborative, with the ability to build trust and credibility with founders, CEOs, Chairs and other senior leaders while translating insight into practical action and measurable impact.
