2025 Portfolio Update: A snapshot of growth, innovation, and strategic progress
Following the start of the second half of the year, we are pleased to share a snapshot of the progress made across a selection of the high-growth businesses we partner with. From strategic senior hires and new product launches to award wins and international expansion the first half of the year has been marked by strong execution and continued ambition.
Here is a look at some of the key highlights:
CloudRock
CloudRock’s strong growth trajectory was recognised once again with its second inclusion on the Financial Times’ Fastest Growing European Companies list. The business continues to drive product innovation, launching WorkHive, a Built-on-Workday app designed to streamline hybrid workforce planning. CloudRock also announced a strategic partnership with The GC Index to enhance how clients align team energy and roles to business outcomes. The business has further strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Edd Castledine as Chief Financial Officer.
Container Solutions
Container Solutions continues to lead in cloud native transformation and thought leadership. Founder & CEO Jamie Dobson recently released his latest book, ‘Visionaries, Rebels and Machines’, charting the journey of technology from electrification to cloudification, following the success of ‘The Cloud Native Attitude’ earlier this year. The team has also launched ‘The Cloud Native Attitude’ podcast, featuring leading industry experts and fast becoming a go-to source for practical insights into cloud native technology. Alongside this, Container Solutions has continued to develop its Continuous Compliance Framework, an open-source software suite designed to automate and streamline compliance tasks, helping businesses improve efficiency and adaptability.
Coolr
Coolr continues to gain industry recognition and build momentum. Earlier this year, the agency was named on The Drum’s “Agencies to Watch in 2025” list and went on to win UK Agency of the Year at the Provoke Media SABRE Awards. To support its next phase of growth, Coolr has expanded its senior team with the formation of a new leadership growth function. Karen Forbes has been promoted to Chief Growth Officer, while new hires Alannah Daniel (ex-VaynerMedia) and Fee Meynell (ex-MG OMD) have joined to lead marketing and commercial development. These changes reflect Coolr’s ambition to further scale its client base and global footprint.
Crosstide
This year marked the rebrand of 101 Ways to Crosstide, signalling a sharpened focus on delivering high-quality engineering and transformation at pace. The new identity reflects the convergence of client and delivery teams to accelerate outcomes. Alongside the rebrand, Crosstide launched three clear delivery promises focused on elite engineering quality, fast mobilisation within 15 days, and the upskilling of client teams.
Electric Theatre Collective
In April, Electric Theatre Collective expanded its global presence with the opening of a new office in New York, marking a significant milestone in the company’s international growth journey. This expansion comes during a standout year for the business, which has been recognised across the industry with multiple award wins, including at the British Arrow Awards, D&AD Awards, and the Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards—for the second consecutive year. The team also earned 14 nominations at the AICP Awards, underscoring its position as a creative leader in visual effects and animation. Electric Theatre continues to collaborate with some of the most recognisable brands, delivering exceptional work for Coca-Cola, o2, SAP, and British Gas.
Flint Global
Flint Global opened a new Berlin office earlier this year and expanded into North America through a strategic partnership with Highland Global Advisors. The firm continues to play a leading role in policy and regulatory dialogue, with its senior team regularly featured across outlets such as Bloomberg, CNN and the Financial Times. These developments are part of Flint’s wider ambition to support clients with global policy challenges in an increasingly complex geopolitical environment.
GTS Flexible Materials
GTS continues to deliver on its vision to be a key supplier of high-performance flexible composites supporting the global zero-carbon transition. In the spring, the global sales team and partners gathered at the South Wales HQ to align on strategy and explore regional and global opportunities.
The business has strengthened its product pipeline across transportation and renewables markets, including advances in non-halogen fire retardants for EV applications, groundbreaking CTI materials for next-generation battery designs, and Rapid Press solutions delivering up to 85% cycle time reductions. In the renewables sector, GTS has enhanced its high-temperature capabilities, further developing their reputation within the sector, producing strong demand within Asia.
Internally, GTS has continued to drive operational excellence through ERP integration, adhesive solution updates, and a Six Sigma-led continuous improvement culture, delivering its best-ever quality results for global customers.
Indigo
Indigo announced the appointment of Michel Robert as Group CEO. Michel brings a strong track record of scaling private equity-backed tech services businesses and has previously led Epsilon Telecommunications, Claranet and Dimension Data. His appointment signals Indigo’s focus on long-term international growth and strategic development across the UK, US and beyond.
John Henry Group (JHG)
John Henry Group announced the appointment of John Farrell as CEO. John brings extensive experience from senior roles across infrastructure and services businesses including Murphy, McNicholas, Enterprise and Amey. His appointment reflects JHG’s focus on strengthening its position as a trusted partner to the UK’s major network operators and driving its next phase of growth and development.
Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR)
JKR was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025, ranking #3 in design globally. The business has continued to deliver standout creative brand work, including a Grand Prix-winning rebrand for the RSPCA and high-profile rebrands for Walmart and Twix. To accelerate their strategic and experience capabilities, JKR has expanded its senior team with new Executive Creative Directors appointed in both London and New York.
Plenitude Consulting
Plenitude released its latest RegIntel Report 2024–25, offering a comprehensive view of regulatory developments across AML, sanctions, fraud and enforcement in key jurisdictions including the UK, EU, Hong Kong and Singapore. The report also offers forward-looking insights into compliance trends and priorities for 2025. It reinforces Plenitude’s position as a specialist advisor in financial crime compliance and regulation.
Robiquity
Robiquity was again recognised in GP Bullhound’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies, reflecting its continued market momentum. The team’s work with Durham Constabulary, delivered in partnership with Microsoft, enabled the constabulary to win the ‘Tech for Good’ award at the Digital Revolution Awards, highlighting their continued positive contribution to society. In February, Co-Founder Jack Rimmer was named Business Owner of the Year at the Made in Manchester Awards, recognition of Robiquity’s growth and entrepreneurial leadership.
