GCP is delighted to announce the completion of its partnership investment with leading visual effects business Electric Theatre Collective (ETC).

ETC is a globally renowned Visual Effects (VFX) and animation company providing post-production services. Its creative and technical expertise is highly valued by its clients which include some of the world’s largest brands such as Apple and Coca-Cola.

As a leader in its market ETC has received multiple industry awards including; three Cannes Lions, Animation Company of the Year at CICLOPE Festival, and a D&AD Black Pencil (the first for a VFX provider in D&AD’s 61 year history).

GCP and ETC’s partnership will support the business in continuing growing its status as a highly respected and leading firm in the industry and to further expand the global presence from its base in London to North America and Europe.

Kirsty McDonald, Partner, and James Handley, Director, GCP, said:

“ETC is a very special business. Its people, culture, world class creativity and craftsmanship, and artist-focused proprietary technology platform underpin ETC’s unrivalled reputation for delivering outstanding work for its clients, including on their most high-profile and challenging projects. It is a privilege to become part of the future of ETC; we’re extremely excited to be partnering with the team.”

Jon Purton, CEO, ETC, added:

“Partnering with GCP is an important moment and marks the beginning of the next chapter for ETC. We chose GCP as our partner because of their style and track record, they share our culture and our values. It was clear from early interactions that they believed in our strategy and will be able to support us with our plans for ETC’s future.”
