Stories from outstanding growth companies

As we enter the final quarter of 2022, we are pleased to provide a summary of some of the exciting developments and successful growth initiatives from across our portfolio over the last six months.  

From expanding internationally, hiring and developing talent within their leadership teams, and continuing to commit to doing the right thing across a range of ESG initiatives, we have highlighted just some of the great work accomplished.

Bridewell, driving growth with new office locations and a brand refresh

The team at Bridewell have been busy with a brand refresh, updating their logo and website, emphasising the expanded range of strategic Cyber Security services they offer.

 “The refresh to Bridewell helps us more effectively communicate to existing and potential customers the cross-services company we are today. We want Bridewell to be synonymous with cyber security, managed security services, penetration testing and data privacy – not just our consulting. Whilst consulting continues to be important to us, we ultimately want businesses to recognise us for the full suite of services that we provide beyond it.”  Scott Nicholson, Co-CEO at Bridewell.

Alongside a new brand they have also been expanding their office locations, launching a new US subsidiary and a Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Wales. This new centre is their largest property investment to date and will support their security analysts in rapidly identifying and responding to threats for a greater number of organisations.

Doing the right thing, First Mile win net zero award

Congratulations to the team at First Mile, who won the ‘Contribution to Achieving Net Zero’ award at the Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management, the most prestigious event in their sector. The award was set up to find businesses or organisations that have clear circular economy goals in their work. Judging was based on the nominee’s ability to take a lead in developing, implementing or enhancing net zero initiatives.

New office location for Flint Global, developing their European presence

Flint Global have enhanced their service capabilities in Europe with a new office in Paris. The team have a wide range of experience working at the most senior levels in French government, parliament, regulatory agencies, and the private sector. Their new office will be headed by Partner Anne-Juliette Rohrbach. Anne-Juliette has 15 years’ experience in regulatory and policy advisory work in France. She has particular expertise in heavily regulated sectors, such as mobility, healthcare, cosmetics and fisheries.

Indigo enhance their leadership team and discuss continued growth trends in fibre network expansion across the UK

Indigo have welcomed Ray O’Connor as CCO to the Board. Ray will focus on expanding the group’s presence and strategic service capabilities in wireless, 5G, data centres, digitisation and managed services. Ray will be responsible for global commercial development and customer growth.

In their latest thought leadership piece, Indigo’s Divisional Director of Fibre, Niall Looney  assesses the risks and rewards of fibre (FTTH) rollout in the UK- a sector that continues to experience rapid change.

Indigo have also announced their participation in Ireland’s “Orchards in the Community” initiative. Indigo is one of 52 pledgers and over 90 schools and community groups planting in excess of 1,000 mixed fruit orchards all over Ireland.

Plenitude Consulting establish their presence in the Asia Pacific region by expanding their leadership team

Another business busy hiring talent for their leadership team is Plenitude. They have welcomed ex-HSBC and Standard Chartered, Financial Crime Compliance leader, Mike Coates as the head of their new Asia Pacific practice. Mike will be based in Plenitude’s new Hong Kong office and be responsible for delivering Plenitude’s ambitious growth plans across Asia.

Robiquity invest in women’s football and hire a new CFO

As part of their continued commitment to helping their local community and raising awareness of technology businesses with women, Robiquity have announced a two year sponsorship deal with Macclesfield Town Ladies Football club. An exciting partnership that they hope will inspire more women to get involved in Football and consider a career in tech.

Robiquity have also expanded their management team with the recruitment of Sadie Alton who has joined as CFO. Sadie is highly experienced and has previously worked with GCP as CFO of Infinity Works where she supported the significant growth over a three-year period.

Alongside this impressive work, it was also great to see Robiquity nominated for the ‘Best use of technology’ at the UKCCF Awards 2022.  This recognition is based on the fantastic intelligent automation work they are doing with Virgin O2 Contact Centres. The winners will be announced at a ceremony later in the year.
