Background

Indigo is a provider of network-critical engineering services in telecom and data centre networks for high-profile customers. They specialise in the design, planning, build, supply, management and maintenance of global networks.

With a head office in Magor, South Wales with operations across UK, EMEA and the USA, employing over 400 people.

We partnered with Ian Duggan, Peter Welch, Ian Gauntlett and their team through an investment in November 2018. We are backing a high calibre management team with deep sector knowledge who have driven the success of the business to date.

Our investment partnership

Indigo is a resilient business with high levels of recurring managed services revenue and excellent quality of earnings. Indigo’s focus on exceptional service delivery has meant they have expanded their service offering to both existing and new customers.

There are positive market drivers and strong growth, driven by trends in FTTH, 5G and Edge DC as well as increased data usage and requirements on network capabilities. Indigo is able to service customer’s end-to-end requirements from design to implementation and ongoing maintenance, network monitoring and support.

The track record of both organic growth and the successful integration of acquisitions have provided scale and a platform for further growth where they are focused on adding complementary services to fulfil the needs of their international customer base.
