Investment Director Emily Henderson recognised on the Real Deals Midmarket Future Leaders List
We are proud to share that Investment Director Emily Henderson has been named on this year’s Real Deals Midmarket Future Leaders list.
Emily was recognised for her leadership on the successful exit of Flint Global to Cinven in 2025, delivering an exceptional outcome for GCP. Having led GCP’s original investment in Flint and served on its Board throughout, Emily worked closely with founders Ed Richards and Sir Simon Fraser and the wider leadership team to build a genuinely global business. Throughout the investment, Emily played a hands-on role in shaping and delivering Flint’s value creation plan: strengthening leadership depth and governance, supporting succession planning including the hiring of the business’s first CEO and CFO, and backing investment into new service lines as Flint built its position as a trusted global adviser. Alongside her investment work, Emily is a respected voice within GCP and an active advocate for greater female representation in private equity, mentoring women at every career stage and supporting early-talent initiatives to widen access to the industry.
Emily Henderson commented:
‘’Being included in this year’s Real Deals Midmarket Future Leaders list means a great deal, particularly alongside so many talented people across the industry. It reflects the fantastic support of the entire team at GCP and the calibre of the management teams we are fortunate enough to work with, including at Flint Global, where our partnership was one of the highlights of my career to date. I’m excited to build on this momentum in the years ahead.”
Richard Shaw, Partner, added:
‘’We’re delighted that Emily has been recognised on this year’s Real Deals Midmarket Future Leaders list, having been closely involved with Flint Global since GCP’s original investment in 2021. She played a hands-on role in strengthening Flint’s leadership and governance, including helping bring in the business’s first CEO and CFO, building the foundations for an outstanding exit at the end of 2025. Beyond the deal, Emily is a genuine role model within GCP, generous with her time mentoring junior colleagues, and she brings that same generosity to our industry more broadly, supporting women at every stage of their careers. That partnership, judgement and attention for others is exactly what we value most highly at GCP, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.”
