Container Solutions and Iridium combine to create a specialist partner for financial services technology change, backed by Growth Capital Partners

Growth Capital Partners (“GCP”) is pleased to support the combination of Container Solutions, the specialist cloud-native consultancy, and Iridium, a consultancy delivering complex, large-scale technology change programmes with particular expertise in Financial Services.

Founded in 2014, GCP-backed Container Solutions is a specialist engineering consultancy that helps organisations build and run technology more effectively. Its services include platform strategy/modernisation and platform engineering, complemented by their open-source ‘The Continuous Compliance Framework’.

Iridium, co-founded in 2018 by Sinclair Elliott and Ben Dainton, has a team of over 70 specialists across offices in Leeds and Budapest. Best known for delivering complex, high-risk migrations across cards, payments and critical banking platforms, many driven by acquisitions, divestments and portfolio transfers, the business also provides software engineering, cloud and data, quality assurance and cyber security services.

The combination unites two culturally aligned, people-driven teams. Container Solutions brings proven cloud-native engineering capability, while Iridium contributes further senior leadership talent, strong client relationships and deep Financial Services expertise.

Together, they offer organisations a single partner for complex technology change, from migration through to modern, cloud-native engineering, with the scale to take on larger programmes and the opportunity to introduce each business’s services to a wider client base.
