GCP announce further team expansion

We are pleased to announce four new additions to the team as our successful expansion continues and we look to make further genuine partnership investments in the Technology and Services sectors.

In August we welcomed Joe Kennedy as an Investment Manager. Joe joined us from Caphaven where he was focused on UK and Northern European private equity investments, prior to that he worked in M&A at BDO. Joe will be primarily focused on new investments and has already made a positive impact whilst supporting the board at First Mile.

To add further operational and strategic capability to our team we also recently welcomed Portfolio Director, Sam Ellis and Operational Partner, Paul Driver. The GCP Growth Toolkit is our core methodology for supporting the fantastic entrepreneurs we work with in achieving their growth plans and Sam and Paul will play key roles in supporting this approach.

Sam has 12 years’ experience in the finance and technology industries, including strategy and operational roles and founding his own technology business. He joins GCP from fintech company Afterpay, where he was the Head of Strategy before moving to the UK to drive their European expansion activities.

Paul has had an extensive and successful career co-founding and leading various Technology and Services businesses. Since exiting PCubed the international Program Management consultancy, he has worked as a Non-Executive Director with three of our portfolio businesses including Chaucer, Infinity Works and Bridewell, prior to taking on the role at GCP.

With Lucy Shah away on maternity leave, we are also pleased to welcome Diva Hollands, who has joined us as Executive Assistant. With 10 years office management experience it is fantastic to welcome her to the team.
